Burgundy wines, a treat for the palate !

The Burgundy wine region is one of the most prestigious and diverse in the world, with no less than 84 controlled appellations of origin and over 250 km of vineyards.

From Chablis to Mâconnais, the Burgundy vineyard consists of a multitude of complex climates offering a wide variety of white and red wines.

Burgundy wines include :

6 regional AOCs (Bourgogne, Bourgogne Aligoté, Bourgogne Mousseux, Coteaux Bourguignons, Bourgogne Passe-Tout-Grain and Crémant de Bourgogne)

44 communal appellations (e.g. Nuits-Saint-Georges, Gevrey-Chambertin, Petit Chablis, Pouilly-Fuissé)

"Premiers Crus and Grands Crus wines (AOC Corton-Charlemagne, AOC Clos de la Roche, AOC Echezeaux, AOC Chevalier-Montrachet...).

The main grape varieties grown in Burgundy are Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Gamay and Aligoté.

Among the most appreciated Burgundy wines is the Crémant de Bourgogne, a regional AOC produced in the departments of Yonne, Côte-d'Or, Saône-et-Loire and Rhône.

Beaujolais wines are made from the Gamay grape variety in the departments of Saône-et-Loire and Rhône. This grape gives fruity and fresh red wines.

Burgundy wine tasting in our exceptional cellar

The Hotel Sept Fontaines invites you to taste Burgundy wines in its cellar.

An impressive cellar of over 130 m2, open to both hotel guests and external visitors.

This cellar is a real invitation to travel: you will be able to taste numerous flavours among fifty references of Burgundy wines and spirits!

This tasting is accompanied by a selection of regional charcuterie and cheese boards.

This oenological visit is also an opportunity to purchase quality wine as a souvenir of your stay in Burgundy or as a gift for your loved ones.

Workshops are also available for groups (capacity of 50 to 60 people).
